Lucille Ball filed for divorce from Desi Arnaz the day after filming of the final episode wrapped.

The Ricardos' neighbors in Connecticut, the Ramseys, appear in several of the "Connecticut" episodes. Lucy seems to be developing a relationship with Mrs. Ramsey (sometimes to Ethel's disapproval) and their kids become friends. However, during The Comedy Hour the Ramseys are dropped, and are only mentioned twice as babysitters for Little Ricky. They do not appear onscreen. For that matter, none of the other characters from "Connecticut" episodes appear or are mentioned in any of the 13 Comedy Hours.

A major reason for the Mertzes being able to move to Connecticut during the end of 'I Love Lucy' (episodes 14-26) was their running an egg business on the Ricardos' property in Westport, Connecticut. However, during the entire run of The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, the business was never mentioned nor shown except in passing in only one season one offering. Although Fred Mertz secured employment during this period as Ricky's Band Manager; Mertz had filled the same position during past band trips (I Love Lucy, Season 4 & 5).

Lucy Ricardo: Let me get this straight, Ms. Bankhead. Are you asking me to leave your home?

Lucy Ricardo: But how's Ricky ever going to find out who took the pearls?

Ricky Ricardo: I'm terrible at remembering names.
