Q
Is there going to be an English language remake like there have been with other foriegn horror films?
A
Although New Line Cinema purchased English-language remake rights, the project has since gone into "development hell," a term used to refer to a stage in a film's development during which any number of issues cause the film's production to be placed on indefinite hold. In the case of "The Orphanage," New Line has been unable to find a director with which it is satisfied.
