Nothing came along, and then he obtained this story and as sort of a joke asked me to play Kingsfield. We both had a good laugh. QMidwest Premiere Happened When & Where?
AThe Midwest Premiere of the hit Fox motion picture, The Paper Chase, happened on Friday, October 19, 1975, at Chicago at the Carnegie theatre (Rush at Oak). An ad read: "Every so often there's a movie that people relate to in a special kind of way. . . The Paper Chase is such a movie. Best Picture Atlanta Film Festival 1973." The film was rated "PG."
