There are so many nautical mistakes in this film that it would take hours for me to list them all. For one, there are no navigation lights (masthead, port and starboard) visible during the shot of the ship sailing at night. Also, the ship's officers and naval crew do not use the proper radio vocabulary when using the communication devices (for example, the word "repeat" is not used. The proper words are "Say Again"). I could go on and on. Did they even have any seafaring advisers for this film?
