Trivia
Due to the extremely violent ending of the fourth season episode "Sins of the Father", in which a young man kills his father in self-defence to protect his mother from being abused by him again, TVO did not rerun Season Four. Rather, they reran the series they aired immediately after the season of "The Royal" had ended early, and then reran the same series at the scheduled time, thereby filling the empty airspace.

Goofs
Series 3 Episode 5 "Poison" Dr Ormerod says goodnight to Sister Brigid, then walks out of the door from Casualty to the Ambulance Bay. As he approaches the door, his coat is unbuttoned, but when he reaches the other side of the door it is completely done up.

Although she is a nun, Sister Brigid clearly has plucked eyebrows and is often shown wearing lipstick, all highly unlikely for a woman who has taken the veil.

Dr. David Cheriton: I make you laugh.

Mrs. Lyons: Life is very short, and very fragile. It's easy to let it go by and suddenly find that all the things you meant to do just never got done. When you're young, you think you've got forever. But you're dead for a very long time. That's all.

Dr. Jill Weatherill: You can't change what's happened to Caroline. You can only look after the children and hope that they find a way through this. You can't know if she'll come back, not now. But there's something else that you can't change. It's what's happening between us two.
