When can we expect dvds?

A DVD collecting the first three episodes of the Spectacular Spider-Man will be released on September 9th, 2008. It will re-edit the episodes to form a mini-movie, and will be presented in a widescreen format that the series was originally produced in. Does any Canadian network air this show?

Teletoon, Canada's 24-hour animation network, will begin airing the Spectacular Spider-Man this September. A sneak preview of the show will air Sunday August 24, at 8:30 am, followed by the beginning of it's weekly run on Sunday, September 7, in it's regular time slot of 10:30 am.

Like in the comic books, will Gwen Stacy become Peter's first love and die at the hands of the Green Goblin (or rather Spider-Man's webbing)?

Due to the show beinng cancelled prematurely we will never know. However, Weisman expressed concern in making audience fall in love with Gwen Stacy the character and not think of her death as her defining point.
