When Emmanuelle Vaugier's character Sarah Robertson is opening the paint cans outside the church to cover the builder's "Coming Soon to this location" a hairy masculine arm is among the hands and arms flying around getting ready to paint.

How does a community with strong connections to it's church allow it to remain closed for two months or longer with no other church available to worship? The ground wasn't even broken for the "new" church. Where are these people going each week. Couldn't they use it until demolition?

It is very odd that buildings that are not being used or lived in (both the church and the Robertson family home) and are slated for demolition have well manicured gardens with freshly planted or potted flowers.
