Roddy Piper's character never gives his name nor is he referred to by name throughout the entire movie. He is simply referred to as "Nada" in the credits, which means "nothing" in Spanish. The name is most likely a reference to George Nada, the main character of Ray Nelson's short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning," which was the basis for 'They Live'.
At the newspaper stand, the alien gentleman goes to his car, his face is alien but his hands are not. All other aliens throughout movie have face and hands that are skeletal.
In the TV station Frank and Nada shoot at the two aliens and claim that the glass in that room is soundproof. There is a regular door 2 or 3 steps away though(which they explode a moment later),something that would certainly allow the people on the other side hear the gunshots.
When Nada is falling through Holly's window, a pair of sunglasses can be seen falling with him outside as he first falls to the ground. However, a short time later, Holly is looking at the floor of her place where the sunglasses are now sitting.
