The opening few episodes feature a tall lanky male in a bright blue T-shirt walking around the Police Station. This un-credited extra is actually actor Stuart Rawe a few years before he became known in comedy hits: "Swift and Shift Couriers" and "Housos".

In mid-2003, Channel Ten decided not to renew the show for a third season due to its large budget, solid but unflattering ratings, and failure to sell the show overseas. The final episode of the show screened in November 2003.

Det. Harriet Walker: Joe, you're wearing odd socks.

Dr. Worth: [during an interrogation, after Joe has accused a teenage boy of drugging his girlfriend at a party] My son does not do drugs. Det. Joe Hill: What do you think they were doing? Sitting around the campfire, singing songs? Come on, what planet are you on?
