Joe Halderman’s Forever War is being adopted into a movie. Sony, Warner Bros and others are all trying to get hold of the sci-fi novel. Channing Tatum is to star in the movie adaptation of the novel. Other names attached to the project are Jon Spaihts, the screen writer for Prometheus and Passenger. Warner Bros are in the running. The story is about a group of military recruits who heads off to fight a space war against the Taurans. After fighting for a few years, the veterans return home but due to distance travelled in space, the few years turns out to be multiple centuries. Therefore, the group returns to a new place unfamiliar to them. IT is about their struggle to adjust to the new environment. Tatum is also the producer of the movie along with Roy Lee. Tatum made his debut in 2005 movie Coach Carter. He is famous for Step Up, G. I. Joe films and 22 Jump Street portrayals.
