Robert De Niro is thought to perform the main role in a biopic about Enzo Ferrari, the world-famous founder of Ferrari brand.
De Niro, 71-year-old American actor, said that it would be a great honor for him to perform in a biopic about the life of such an extraordinary man, who consider having made a true revolution in the automotive world. Shooting will soon begin; most of filming expected to be held in Italy. Now is the priority project for Robert De Niro among all the others, he said.
The film, which will be shot effort Triworld Cinema Film Company in association with De Niro Tribeca Enterprises, will affect a vast period of time from 1945 till 1980s. The director of the film is expected to be Clint Eastwood, who is much interested in participating in this project. Eastwood also expressed a heart desire to lead shot, if he liked the script.
The plot is deeply rooted in an autobiographical "Ferrari 80" book written by the founder of the Italian company in 1981. It is expected that the premiere will take place in 2016.
