When Vic Noto(Auggie Falcone) was told that shooting for 29th Street was to take place in North Carolina he reacted:"A NYC Mob style film in the South?". Vic didn't realize at the time,it was a Studio back lot NYC streets and location shooting seemed to match parts of Queens. "I got a kick out of the Italian/American Extras with the Southern accents".

In the scene where the son had the big argument on the stairs with Pesce Senior, in the shot of the son, the jacket on the son's left side is messed up. Then there is a shot of the father then it goes back to the son. When it goes back to the son, the jack is straight, as if he fixed it, which he did not.
