Daughter-in-law of Iya Abdy.

On Broadway in the late 40s, she performed in "On the Town" and "Bonanza Bound" written and composed by then-husband Adolph Green. She divorced Green in May of 1953 and married actor George Gaynes in December of that year. They have been together over 50 years.
Guest-starred on husband, George Gaynes's TV series Punky Brewster (1984) as his love interest.
